A free habit and goal tracker that fills itself in
Uprise is a free habit and goal tracker built into your daily planner. Track habits you want to build or quit, keep streaks going, and set weekly, monthly and yearly goals. Many goals update on their own from your real work — focus hours, finished tasks or good habit days — so you never fill in a spreadsheet.
How does the habit tracker work?
Uprise is a free productivity web app by AI Tools Key, and habits live on the same dashboard as your tasks and focus timer. Every habit is one of two kinds. Build habits are things you want to do more: tick them off each day, or count them if the goal is more than once, like “drink 8 glasses of water”. Quit habits are things you want to do less: log each time it happens, and every day within your limit keeps the streak alive. Set the limit to 0 to quit completely, for example “No smoking”.
Each habit shows its current streak and seven small dots for the last seven days, so you can see at a glance how the week is going. Quick-start presets add common habits in one tap.
What kinds of goals can I set?
Goals belong to a week, a month or a year, and each period shows how much time has passed so you can tell if you are on track. There are three types:
| Type | How it updates | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Automatic | Counts from your activity in Uprise | 15 focus hours this week |
| Count | You add progress yourself | Read 2 books this month |
| Checkbox | Done or not done | Launch my portfolio this year |
Automatic goals can follow focus hours, focus sessions, tasks completed, good days for any habit and — if you use the prayer tracker — prayers on time, prayers with jamaat or days with all five prayers. Uprise suggests a sensible target for each, and a goal can repeat every week, month or year.
How do I know if I am on track?
Every goal gets a status — To do, On track, Behind, Done or Not reached — with a colour and a label, so it is clear even without colour. The weekly, monthly and yearly reports list your goals and habits next to tasks and focus time, and you can write a short reflection: what went well and what to improve next time.
Why track habits and goals in a planner?
- One place to look. Your habits sit next to today’s tasks and the focus timer, so they are part of the plan, not an afterthought.
- Less typing. Automatic goals use data you already create by working.
- Long memory. Uprise keeps 400 days of history with an activity heatmap, so you can see real progress over a year.
- Everywhere. Tick a habit on your phone and see it on your laptop — your data syncs and works offline.
